10 WAYS TO MAKE A RIVIER (A HISTORY LESSON), 2002

Gallery 203
University of Memphis
March 29 - April 13, 2002

My approach to this exhibit was to create an awareness about the state of our rivers. I would hope the work brings questions to the viewer such as what's happened? what if...? how can I...? what do we do? what next? raw sewage? drinking water?

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission lists 17 species of fish as endangered, 15 fish species as threatened and another 40 species of fish "in need of management".

The exhibit had 10 pieces. 2 pieces are collaborative works with anyone interested in participating. I am exploring old and new ideas through the other 8 works.
