CONNEMARA WATERWAY, 1992
In 1992 I went to the Connemara Conservancy outside of Dallas, Texas. Each year 10 artists are selected to create a temporary piece there. There is a farm house that the artist stay in. It was like art camp. For this piece, I brought my tools and a red pitcher pump. The sculpture was designed on site. The idea was to pump water from the creek and follow it 300 feet to the end where the water fell and returned to the creek. My intent was to have people think about the use of water.
