PORTAGE AT FAIRMOUNT PART, 1990
"Portage" was created in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, PA for the 1990 Out of the Woods exhibit. The piece began in a creek and found it's way up to the top of a hill. As I had just finished graduate school, I was thinking about moving around obstacles.
