My approach to this exhibit is to create an awareness about the state of our rivers. I would hope the work brings questions to the viewer such as what's happened? what if...? how can I...? what do we do? what next? raw sewage? drinking water?
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission lists 17 species of fish as endangered, 15 fish species as threatened and another 40 species of fish "in need of management".
The exhibit has 10 pieces. 2 pieces are collaborative works with anyone interested in participating. I am exploring new and old ideas through the other 8 works.
